In 1968 I was 18 years old. I received a Road Map sized and folded brochure from Peter and Roger Boynton. I was astounded. 10,000 pieces of gear on one sheet of paper. I've been a customer since that moment. As I launched my own company I copied the Boynton model and have been in business for 36 years now. This year has been a eye opener to me that life and aging comes at you hard. In January I officially found out I Had 9 fribroid tumors in my pelvis. ( no cancer but still scary ). I work full time as a personal trainer in a gym setting were I have to be on my feet and training gym clients. Well to cut a long story short I started receiving treatment at duke hospital and from January to august I had such excruciating pain I'd only had enough energy to work in the gym and I would sit in a chair and instruct my gym clients from sitting position. Then go home at night and crawl into fetal position self medication with any thing I could find to ease the pain. (Thats why I hadn't played bass guitar in 8 months or post any new videos on YouTube.)

So now 8 months of agony are over and the medicine to treat my illness is finally working yeah!!!!!!!!! So I start surfing eBay because I need something to jump start happiness and well being again. Before my illness I played my bass guitar everyday and really kept me entertained thru hot summers and cold winters. ( smiles)

Now it's august and I finally have no pain and I'm ready to start playing bass guitar. For me not being able to pick up play my guitars was torture more than the pain. I invested so much into my guitar collection.

So I'm surfing through eBay and I see boynton pro audio. And I see this beautiful teal green lakland bass guitar and it just calling me.

Then I look at the price wow what a great deal but I can't afford it at this time cuz my medical bills were just piling up lol So a little voice in my head says " just call pro boynton audio maybe they can work out a deal"

So I call Ken and he was very pleasant on the phone ( keep in mind I didn't tell him about my illness until now this letter) He took time out to explain the bass guitar I was interested in even offered to send more pictures to show more details. So he talked to the store owner and they agreed to let me make weekly payments until the bass was paid in full.

Each week Ken would send me invoice through paypal and with quick notes of encouragement saying your almost there.

I finally payed off the bass in two and a half months I think hehehehe Thank you Ken and boyntonpro audio for making my year much happier and having the opportunity to own my first Lakeland bass guitar. I'm looking forward to getting many more bass guitars from Ken at boynton pro audio.
